Diadora Football Boots are made by Italian football & sportswear manufacturer Diadora, which is Greek for "by means of gifts". Founded in 1948 in the Veneto region, Diadora began as a two man outfit - Marcello Danieli and his wife - who manufactured exclusively mountain climbing boots.

The company grew in Italy throughout the 1950's, and in the 1960's Diadora expanded into making ski boots and apres ski boots, which brought a little bit of international recognition.

In the 1970's though, Diadora went worldwide, thanks to the introduction of running and tennis shoes, and by the mid 1970's Diadora expanded into the football boot market.

Today, Diadora is the third largest football boot manufacturer worldwide, and is the kit manufacturer of a number of English, Scottish & International Teams including Scotland, Watford & Partick Thistle.
